Playing for Change 2015!

Playing For Change is a multimedia movement created to inspire, connect, and bring peace to the world through music. Playing For Change Day was created in 2011 to unite the global community through the power of music to affect positive social change. On Playing For Change Day, communities will gather as musicians and music lovers from all over the world to perform on stages, street corners, schools, yoga studios, and cafes, all with the goal of bringing music into the lives of young people. In 2014, Playing For Change Day resulted in over 400 events in 61 countries on 6 continents, raising nearly $150,000 to provide instruments, music instruction, and inspiration for kids and youth. PFC Day fundraising efforts will help provide free classes in dance, instruments, languages, and music theory for children, instructed by qualified local teachers in Bangladesh, Brazil, Ghana, Mali, Rwanda, Nepal, South Africa, Thailand and United States. This day of music, peace, and change keeps instruments, music instruction, and inspiration flowing to children around the world. Your participation contributes to a positive vibration that connects and inspires us all. One World, One Voice, One Day.

I will be playing at Kaffka in Gjøvik 12:00pm today. Hope to see you!
