The Eternity Express
It´s a new day,
it´s a new time
It’s a life on the run that I love
I dont look back, but I look bad
and I swear I dont mind what I had
Now I`m chasing through stormy grasslands
I’m on the tale of a train that I want
I can make it, if I can take it
and that feeling is the greatest reward
to feel strong, but don’t you ever go home
Cause I’m on

On The Eternity Express
On The Eternity I travel
On The Eternity Express now
This is what I feel, this is what I need
so give it to me give to me give to me, til I bleed
I can make it, if I can take it
and that feeling is the greatest reward
to feel strong, but don’t you ever go home
Cause I’m on
On The Eternity Express
On The Eternity I travel
On The Eternity Express now
What´s Happening
In their second single Martines almost signatur like folk fiddling has a field day along with hand claps and light jamming. In the story you meet a guy that wakes up in the olden days, quite confused but eager to share his knowledge from the future. The frustration gets worse when he experiences that he cannot explain anything without access to the internet.

What’s Happening
Woke up with the cat in the middle
Had to stretch my legs,
with the girly and her fiddle
It was dark enough,
and when I looked outside,
I didn´t know what time it was
I saw a horse in the driveway
and my car was gone
Where did that tree come from
I yelled to my lady “this is creepy as hell,
can you tell me what´s going on"
The cat she had no idea,
my woman took my fever both here and there
She told me to splash some water in my face,
its in the bowl in the corner
where it always stays
I cried no, what`s happening, to me,
Hey whats happening my love?
Oh no no no whats happening, were have I been?
I don`t know, hey what´s happening my love
I have to tell this place, I`ve been seeing things
I have to tell this place, that I know things
"So show us all", they cried, "what do you know?"
"Show us all, what can we learn?"
I told them that my phone was dead,
I knew nothing without the world wide web
What`s happening, to me
Hey whats happening my love?
Oh no no no whats happening, were have I been?
I don`t know, hey whats happening to me
Legends and Kings
"Legends and Kings" by "Martine Kraft & Jump off Joe" has an almost British traditional sound to it with a more modern story telling vocal on top. It is catchy and crisp with a rolling piano bass, banjo, Norwegian Hardangerfiddle, guitar and insisting drumming. The lyrics describes historical personalities from a world known brand in Islington, North London.

Legends and Kings
Have you heard about a legend called Tony
He was the meanest member of the Adams family
He showed his country how to defend
He´s a Gunner to the bone
The Arsenal is his home
Have you heard about the big King Henry
Terrifyingly terrific, Henry the Thierry
He showed the world how to strike
He´s a Gunner to the bone
The Arsenal is his home
Oh oh oh oh oh
From Woolwich in the south to Highbury in the north
Oh oh oh oh oh
For Legends and Kings let´s fight tonight

And then comes this lil chili boy Bukayo
A Hale End baby with more vision than Galileo
He shows us all how to behave
He´s a Gunner to the bone
The Arsenal is his home
Oh oh oh oh oh
From Woolwich in the south to Highbury in the north
Oh oh oh oh oh
For Legends and Kings let´s fight tonight
Oh oh oh oh oh
Dial Square gave us Chapman and Graham gave us Wenger
Oh oh oh oh oh
We are Gunners to the bone
The Arsenal is our home

Oh oh oh oh oh

For Legends and Kings let´s fight tonight
Oh oh oh oh oh

Change My Name
"Change my name" is about creating your own life with no prejudice to your name. It is also strongly inspired by Scandinavian emigration to the United States in the 18th century. Musically, these dramatic travels of the early settlers, are underlined with a highly energetic fiddle and quit insisting rhythms. The instrumental tonality is clearly Scandinavian as the vocals are almost rock´n´ roll like, arguably a familiar combination in Martine Kraft & Jump off Joe´s productions.

CHANGE MY NAME
I will change my name
I will change my name
I will change my name
because my name is what they blame
They think that I`am the same
They think that I`am the same
They think that I`am the same
and my name is what they blame
Now my name is Joe
Now my name is Joe
Now my name is Joe
and I decide where to go
I made myself a life
I create my days
No one else than me
can decide who I`ll be
I`m fighting for my daughter
I`m fighting for my son
I`m fighting for their children
so they dont have to run
I`ll put it on a paper
I`ll stick it on the wall
It´s not what they are saying
it´s not my name no more
