Last day of the regional tour by Turnéorganisasjonen is over for now. Engaged students from 28 different middle schools have completed a basic course in how to be a student arranger, some have joined in composition workshops and courses about how to be a good cultural host. A great week with wonderful students and inspirational colleagues: Bjarne Kvinnsland, Frode Berntzen, Bernt Torp and Helge Harstad. A big salute to Turnéorganisasjonen that has been active for 25 years and
This week I will be touring with Turnéorganisasjonen in the south east of Norway. Today we worked at Aukrustsenteret in Alvdal with students in Nord-Østerdalen that will soon be student organizers at their local school. Last night I worked in Enger Studio on a new project by the Norwegian composer Johannes Ringen. Really fun to explore more of his beautiful cinematic soundscapes and to be a part of the creative studio process.
Some weeks ago the Dutch artist Kati Ran from the nordic folk band LEAF contacted me about a new musical collaboration and this weekend we had our first gathering with the new Leaf line up! This fall we will do several concerts with the repertoire from the new album LYS. Thank you for a wonderful weekend and for some great new friendships! Looking forward to bring the powerful music of Kati Ran, Leaf and LYS live on stage! From left: Chantal Bleumink (keys and dulcimer), HC D
